By downloading, accessing, or using UniCraic ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. UniCraic is operated by UniCraic Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland (company number 820740), with registered offices at Galway Technology Centre, Mervue Business Park, Galway H91 HE94.
The App is intended for students aged 16 or over who are currently enrolled at a participating third-level institution in Ireland. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of enrolment at any time. Accounts found to be ineligible may be suspended or deleted without notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account with any other person. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at hello@unicraic.ie. We reserve the right to disable any account at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated.
UniCraic acts as an intermediary connecting students with participating businesses ("Merchants"). Deal listings are provided in good faith but we do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or continued availability of any offer. All deals are subject to the Merchant's own terms and conditions. UniCraic accepts no liability for a Merchant's failure or refusal to honour a listed deal. Availability may vary by location and time.
Event listings are provided for informational purposes only. Details including dates, times, venues, and ticket prices are subject to change without notice. UniCraic does not organise, host, manage, or accept responsibility for any third-party events listed in the App. Attendance at any event is entirely at your own risk. We recommend verifying event details directly with the organiser before attending.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; harass, abuse, or harm any other user or Merchant; submit false, misleading, or deceptive information; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any component of the App; use automated tools to scrape or extract data; or use the App in any way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its operation.
All content, trademarks, logos, and software within the App are the property of UniCraic Limited or its licensors and are protected under Irish and European intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without prior written consent.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Irish and EU law, UniCraic Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed €100. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may close your account at any time from the Profile section of the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable EU law.
